Dr. Jingdi (Rebecca) Zeng

Professor and Curriculum Chair

Dr. Zeng was a research scientist at various international institutions before dedicating her time to teaching in the U.S. As a Curriculum Chair of Colleges and Curriculum here at DeVry, her main responsibility is program development and assessment in IT and cyber security domains. Dr. Zeng is a seasoned Cisco Networking Academy instructor, an AWS Academy accredited educator, a long-time IEEE member, an ABET program evaluator and a strong advocate and mentor for women in STEM.

Dr. Rajin Koonjbearry

Professor

Dr. Rajin Koonjbearry has been an educator for over twenty years. He is a Professor of IT/Security for the Colleges and Curriculum team, and in that role supports curriculum development and assessment of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity programs. He has served as Chief Information Security Officer for the US Federal Courts, The Supreme Court of Oklahoma, Dallas County, and the Dallas Independent School Districts. Rajin has a Doctor of Science in Information Assurance, three Master of Science degrees (Information Assurance, Telecommunication Engineering, and Mathematics), and is currently completing a Doctor of Engineering degree at George Washington University. He has given presentations at the ISC2 and the annual conference for federal judges. He also leads the deployment of CBRS networks to provide Internet access to underprivileged communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Christina Bailey has held roles at CACI Inc., Navy Sea Systems Command Dam Neck, where she successfully led teams of government civilians and contractors as a Navy Qualified Validator and Information Systems Security Manager to achieve full accreditation of the major Navy operating systems on afloat and shore commands. She is known for her strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities and leadership qualities which have enabled her to effectively collaborate with teams, lead projects and achieve critical goals that affect operations of U.S. Navy networks. 

Patrick Coyle
Patrick Coyle
Visiting Professor

Dr. Coyle has held roles at Peirce College and AmerisourceBergen Corporation where he successfully performed security audits, designed and delivered employee training programs, designed and implemented college level cybersecurity programs, taught classes in all areas of Information Technology and Security and temporarily led the Information Technology program at Peirce College in Philadelphia as acting Faculty Chair. He is known for his effective communication skills, teaching ability, creative problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities and cyber security knowledge which have enabled him to lead teams, instruct others, develop programs of study, problem solve and make sound recommendations.

Senior Professor and Faculty Chair

Dr. Lamour has held roles at Inacom Corporation, Watcher Technologies and several Fortune 500 organizations where he successfully implemented multiple data and security operations centers to support enterprise operations. He is known for being a kind, creative, compassionate, charismatic and insightful leader, which has enabled him to effectively collaborate with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.

Alex Leung
Alex Leung
Senior Professor

Alex Leung is a Senior Professor in our College of Engineering and Information Sciences here at DeVry University. He has worked as a researcher and consultant in the area of microwave and millimeter wave circuits design, radiowave propagation and image processing. Professor Leung also specializes in cyber security, computer networking and engineering courses. He has been a Cisco Academy Certified instructor since 2002.

Visiting Professor

Dr. McCubbre has held roles at General Motors Acceptance Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers and General Motors, where he successfully ran global cyber security and IT Audit programs and provided cybersecurity consulting services. He is known for developing teams with deep expertise to deliver solutions to complex cybersecurity and regulatory compliance challenges and has developed and taught a wide range of IT and cyber security courses.

Hassan Marzouk
Hassan A. Marzouk
Senior Professor

Hassan Marzouk has worked at the University of Kentucky as a Professor and Senior Manager of a center of excellence for advanced materials research and at the University of California at Cal Poly as a Professor of Electronics. His teaching has earned multiple awards over the decades and he has contributed closely to the development of technology courses here at DeVry. His strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities and leadership qualities have enabled him to effectively collaborate with teams, lead projects and achieve goals.
