An Associate Degree in Information Technology is an associate-level degree focused on information technology skills such as networking, operating systems, introductory programming, security, data analysis, digital literacy and other technology skills. In the general progression of degree types, it falls between a high school diploma and a bachelor's degree. Should you choose to earn an associate degree, you may be able to meet the minimum requirements for a wider range of jobs than you would with just a high school diploma.
With an information technology associate degree, you may be able to apply for variety of jobs across different industries.
